Eat Drink Meridian, an annual fundraiser, showcases Meridian’s finest restaurants such as Weidmann’s, Raising Cane’s, Brickhaus Bar & Grill, Bumpers Drive Inn, Waffle House, Cameron’s Deli, Harvest Grill and McAlister’s. Sponsored by the Northeast Conference Center, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn, the event also hosts a beer tasting from Mitchell Distributing and Magnolia Beverage Company. The 2015 event was titled “Cause for Paws” and benefitted East Mississippi Animal Rescue, Almost Home Animal Rescue and Lauderdale County Animal Control. Marketing efforts for Eat Drink Meridian include posters for the annual event.
